FUNCTIONS – Erika + Paul
Erika and Paul’s small yet intimate wedding took place on a beautiful summers day in Pretoria. We then headed off to Springbok park to capture the couple as they relaxed and explored the gardens.
ARCHITECTURE – The Spa House
Here is a selection of images from a recent commission for Wallpaper magazine. This beautiful house, named The Spa House is situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town.
TRAVEL – Topdeck
I had the pleasure of being commissioned to shoot Topdecks travel catalogue and explore nine countries across Europe for their European Odyssey package. Countries covered include: France, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican City, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium. More images coming soon.
FASHION – Laduma Knitwear
There is nothing better than cruising around Johannesburg looking for city backdrops to enhance a fashion shoot. Laduma Knitwear is the brainchild of Laduma Ngxokolo a textile designer from Port Elizabeth. The London-based Society of Dyers and Colourists awarded him first prize in their Global Design competition. And the collection also won acclaim at the Milan Design Week in Italy for its cutting-edge blend of ancient and modern.
FUNCTIONS – Ari + Tali
Its always so special to see a young couple in love. I had the pleasure of being part of the ceremony and documenting Ari and Tali’s beautiful wedding at the magnificent ‘Summer Place’ in Johannesburg.
ADVERTISING – INSPIRE
After several meetings with Sara and Tahmina in london, we had a clear direction to go in. The anti-extremism poster campaign represents different aspects of extremism. These include, violence, misogyny, greed, racism and crime. The posters have been exhibited at the Hounslow Civic Centre and are displayed at conferences and workshops across the United Kingdom. “Inspire is an award winning consultancy helping Muslim women to reach their full potential in life. We aim to develop exceptional women, to empower and inspire them to become role models and tomorrow’s leaders.”
FUNCTIONS – Greg + Georgia
There is nothing more magical than a winter wedding in probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Lake District is England’s largest National Park with a magnificent backdrop of rolling mountains and crystal clear lakes. An ideal setting for Greg and Georgia’s special day situated in the sleepy town of Hawkshead and the home of Beatrix Potter.
PRODUCTS – Coffee Unplugged
It is always a treat to photograph products you also get a chance to tastes. Coffee unplugged in Johannesburg provided us with some great gift boxes, a selection of coffees and editable coffee beans coated in Belgian chocolate. The shoot comprised of a studio approach to professionally light the products for their new web launch. We will be continuing the relationship with a documentary shoot on the behind the scenes look at the processes that go into producing their delicious range of coffees.
FUNCTIONS – Jade + Dario
Hidden in a leafy suburb of Johannesburg, Shepstone Gardens was the venue for Jade and Dario’s special occasion. We had an opportunity to spend the day from early in the morning till late into the evening documenting the preparations, ceremony and party. We were also fortunate enough to have the venue to ourselves a couple of days later, where we could photograph Jade and Dario in a more relaxed setting bringing across the intimacy and love they share for each other. Even though the hangovers still lingered.
